THE LEAGUE OF TRAVELING BOOKS
One of the most challenging obstacles for a writer is gaining recognition in public. The Project strives to assist writers in this by showcasing excellent fiction to serious readers through a multitude of avenues. At the same time, the Project also believe in making reading enjoyable. Given that, it attempts to meet that requirement with its own fun, interactive programs. One of those programs is the League of Traveling Books.
A limited number of each of the Project's showcase books will go to members of the League free of charge. After reading the book, the recipient agrees to pass the book on to another person who might enjoy it, who will then pass it on to another. Each reader is asked to record their comments on cards included with the book. The fifth reader will seal the cards in a self-addressed stamped envelope and drop the envelope in the mail to return to the Project. These comments will be posted to show the book's traveling adventures. Anyone wishing to send pictures to personalize their participation can do so through the Project's contact link in the bottom right hand corner of each page of this site.
